Any construction project on one site with an estimated cost greater than £300,000 must prepare a site waste management plan (SWMP) before work begins (as set out in the Site Waste Management Plans Regulations 2008).
It is the client’s responsibility to produce the plan before the project starts, and both the client and the principal contractor are guilty of an offence under these regulations if no plan exists. Once the project starts the obligation is on the principal contractor to update the plan.
We look at the interaction between your operation and its surroundings to establish your status against current standards and offer suggestions to address your organisation’s environmental responsibilities.
Our environmental auditing monitors your company’s performance against a previously agreed policy or statutory standard and ensures compliance with environmental legislation.
